Impact at three levels

What changes after an Away Day

An Away Day mostly works at team level. It's a strong start, and the easiest route into a longer programme.

Individual

Feels part of the team

  • Everyone has a role, inside and outside the headset
  • Sees colleagues' strengths in a new setting

Measured by: on-the-day feedback

Team

Talks and laughs together

  • Clear communication under time pressure
  • A shared story to come back to

Measured by: end-of-event feedback

Organisation

A first step

  • A lift in engagement after the day
  • An easy route into Behavioural or Leadership

For lasting organisation-level change, choose Leadership

Who it's for

  • Small business teams
  • Socials and celebrations
  • Teams who haven't met in person for a while
  • Individuals booking a place on an open session

Questions

Do people need any VR experience?

No. Everyone gets a short headset practice before the challenge starts, and only one person per team wears the headset at a time.

Can you run it at our office?

Yes. We run sessions on site or at partner venues in the West Midlands subject to an additional hire fee and availability.

What about motion sickness?

Not everyone has to use the headset. The VR has been designed to allow people to sit in a chair if they feel motion sickness. In the VR blinds can be lowered to reduce the motion of the train.
