Animal behaviour preference profile
Beta privacy notice
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information we collect when you take part in the beta of the Animal Behaviour Preference Profile at teamsglued.co.uk, how we use it, and the choices you have.
In short: we only collect what we need to give you your profile, we keep it on a UK server with a backup in Germany, we do not sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
The profile is provided by Glued Limited, trading as Teams Glued. Glued Limited is the data controller for the information described here, which means we decide how and why it is used.
- Registered address: Glued Limited, 106 Astwood Road, Worcester, WR3 8EZ
- Company number: 4871074
- ICO registration number: ZA326079
- Privacy contact: David Wilson: info@gluedlimited.co.uk
We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Please send any privacy question to the contact above.

How we use it and our lawful basis
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each use of your information.
- Giving you your profile and report: we rely on your consent, which you give when you accept the invitation and start the questionnaire.
- Running and securing the beta: we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a safe, working service.
- Analysing results to improve the profile: we rely on our legitimate interests in testing and developing the product. We do this with de-identified results only (see the next section).
- Running a Train Challenge event you take part in (placing you in a team, planning your missions, printing your pack and sending you a reminder about your reflection): we rely on our legitimate interests in running the event your organisation has booked. You can tell us at any time if you object.
- Contacting you about the beta: we rely on your consent. We will not send you marketing emails unless you separately agree to receive them.
- Contacting you about Teams Glued, and occasional email updates (product features, events, discount codes for working with Teams Glued, and team-building tips): we only do this if you tick the matching box on our sign-up form, and we rely on your consent. The boxes are optional and you can still take part in the beta without ticking them.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email update. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Using results to find patterns and test the profile
During the beta we may look across everyone’s results to find patterns, check the questionnaire is working as intended, and improve how profiles are calculated.
When we do this, we remove your name, email address and user ID from your answers and results first. The people analysing the data cannot see who any result belongs to, and we will never publish or report anything that could identify you.
If you ask us to delete your data, we will also remove your answers from future analysis. Results that have already been combined into anonymous summary statistics cannot be separated out again.
Your profile is not an assessment
Your profile describes behavioural preferences to help with self-reflection and teamwork. It is not a psychometric test of ability, personality disorder or job suitability.
We do not make any decision about you based solely on automated processing of your answers, and we do not use your profile for recruitment, promotion or any decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Train Challenge events
If your organisation books a Train Challenge event and you take part, we use your profile results to place you in a team and to plan a role and a short activity, which we call a mission, for you in each carriage of the challenge.
We print a pack for you with your name, your mix of Panther, Koala, Meerkat and Fox, and your missions. The Teams Glued facilitator running the event has a sheet showing your team’s profile results and missions, so they can run the challenge and the debrief afterwards. Your teammates see your first name and your role on the cards read out in each carriage, but not your results or your missions, unless you choose to share them. We securely destroy our printed facilitator sheets after the event.
If your event includes a reflection, your pack has a QR code that opens your own reflection page without signing in, and we may email you the same link as a reminder. The link only opens your reflection, so please don’t share it. Your reflection answers are stored with your profile and treated in the same way. Completing the reflection is optional.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored on a server located in the United Kingdom. Backup copies are stored in Germany so we can restore the service if something goes wrong.
Germany is in the European Economic Area, which the UK government recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. Apart from the font requests described under “Who we share it with”, your information is not transferred outside the UK and EEA.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, including your employer, other participants or advertisers, except as described under “Train Challenge events” above.
We do not share your individual results, missions or reflection answers with your employer. If your organisation books an event, we may give them an overall summary of the event’s reflections that does not identify anyone.
We use a small number of service providers to run the beta: our hosting and email provider, Hostinger, and Adobe Fonts, which supplies the typeface used on the site. Hostinger stores and processes information only on our instructions, under a contract that requires it to keep it secure and confidential, and is not allowed to use it for its own purposes.
When you open a page, your browser downloads the typeface from Adobe’s servers. To deliver it, Adobe receives your device’s IP address and basic browser details, along with the name of our website. Adobe does not receive your name, email address, answers or results. Adobe says it does not store the IP address or set cookies when serving fonts, and uses information about which fonts are served for billing and licensing. Adobe is based in the United States and is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the UK government recognises as providing adequate protection. You can read more in Adobe’s privacy information for Adobe Fonts.
We would only disclose your information to anyone else if the law required us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your name, email address, user ID, answers and results for 2 years after the beta ends, so you can still access your report. After that we delete them, or remove anything that identifies you.
If you sign up but we don’t send you an invitation, we delete your details within 6 months. If you’ve agreed to receive email updates, we keep your name, email address and company for that purpose until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so within one month. Deleted data is removed from backups as they are routinely overwritten, within 6 months.
Keeping your information secure
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected admin access limited to Glued Limited staff, one-use access codes, and regular backups. No online system is completely secure, but if a breach ever puts your information at risk we will tell you and the Information Commissioner’s Office where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Have your data removed: ask us to delete your information at any time.
- Access it: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct it: ask us to fix anything inaccurate, such as a misspelt name.
- Restrict or object: ask us to stop or limit how we use it, including for pattern analysis.
- Take it with you: ask for your information in a format you can reuse.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting earlier use.
To use any of these rights, email info@gluedlimited.co.uk. There is normally no charge. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable admin fee or refuse it, and we will explain why. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
The beta site uses only essential cookies, which keep you logged in and the site secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The typeface service, Adobe Fonts, does not set cookies.
While you fill in a Train Challenge reflection, your browser keeps a temporary copy of your answers on your own device, so they aren’t lost if your connection drops. It is removed when you finish your reflection.
Age
The beta is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
This is a beta
The profile is still being tested, so features and results may change. If how we use your information changes in a way that matters, we will tell you before it happens.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will email you about any significant change.
