How it works

The learning loop

Most team days end when the event finishes. Ours start earlier and finish later, so people take something back to work: Profile, Play, Reflect, Apply.

The whole programme in under two minutes

See each stage in action, from the Animal Profile and profile-based teams to The Train Challenge, personal carriage missions and reflection. Then read on for the detail.

Stage 1 · Before the day

Profile

Each person gets a private link to the Animal Profile. It shows their percentage mix of Panther, Koala, Meerkat and Fox, with a PDF report to keep.

  • Teams are formed from the profiles, not picked on the day
  • Each player gets carriage missions matched to their profile

Stage 2 · On the day

Play

Teams take on The Train Challenge. Each team shares one VR headset, so the people outside it have to guide the player inside. That's where working styles show up.

  • Four carriages, four kinds of challenge
  • Missions stay sealed until the day
  • A4 player packs, printable in black and white

Stage 3 · Straight after

Reflect

Before they leave, players answer a few short questions on their phones about what they noticed in themselves and in others. Anyone who runs out of time gets a link by email.

The facilitator then runs a debrief using the team's profiles and how each carriage went.

Stage 4 · Back at work

Apply

Leadership teams leave with a written action plan with named owners and review dates. A follow-up session checks progress and starts the loop again for new starters, new managers or a changed team.
